Tips on praying and having your prayers answered.

Are your prayer never answered?  Are you getting frustrated because God always answers your requests with a "NO"?  Here are some tips on what to do, do get God to answer your prayers.
First of all you have to know who it is you are praying to.  Who is your God?  There is only one God, the omnipotent creator and master of the universe, Yahweh.  There are three parts of this God, The Creator, The Son who came to show us the way, and the Holy Spirit.  The are three parts of the same entity, much like your body has different parts for different purposes, so does God.  This is referred to as the God's Head and is commonly know as the trinity, not three similar entities but three parts of the same entity, every iota.  In Greek, the letter I is the difference between spelling the words: Similar and Same.  The council of Nicia decided that it is the same God not similar entities.
So now that you know who God is, you have to get to know him.  You need to read orhear his words to you. Read the Good News, it's the first four books of the New Testament.  For centuries God tried to communicate with us and very few men listened.  Some of them started organized religion but after they were gone it always became corrupt.  Finally God had to come here in person to straighten things out at his temple.
When he was here on Earth, in the flesh, he said that you don't have to pay to pray.  You don't have to be in the temple building to pray because you are the temple in which God dwells.  No building can confine God.  God is as big as the whole universe, in fact God is the universe.
You've got to believe with all of your heart and soul that there is a God with a loving heart who sent his son to die for your evil doings so that you can live on.  You have to pray that God forgives you of your sins.  You have to repent and truly feel sorry for them so that you learn not to do them again and you have to turn away from them and try hard not to go back.  I know it sounds hard but God said that there is no temptation so strong that God can't help you overcome it.
And while you are being forgiven here, don't forget to try to forgive other people who did evil things to you, because holding a grudge is a sin, and if you want your prayers answered you have to be close to God.  When you sin, you separate yourself from God.  God is still always there but you are pretending to hide from him, acting like he doesn't see what you do and know every thought that you have.
And since he does know every thought that you have, you can say a silent prayer to him anytime you want to and nobody but he will know it.  However it is better to say your prayers out loud because there are certain spiritual powers which our tongue posses which amplify your thoughts.  If you really want God's attention, why not scream it at him?  And while you are shouting it out to him, shout out some praise for him too.  Be thankful for everything, praise him for it.
Or sing it at him.  There is something about sound waves that God really loves, I think it tickles him and caresses him.  So play music for him and sing to him.  The bible says to make a joyful noise unto the LORD, make a LOUD noise, and rejoice, and sing praise!  Clap your hands, shout unto God with the voice of triumph.  And praise him with trumpet, lute and harp.  Praise Him with tambourines and processional.  Praise Him with stringed instruments and horns.  Praise him with cymbals, yes, loud clanging cymbals.
Now that you have praised him and made him happy with your commune with him you should start to feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  God wants to repay your act of kindness and love for him with that warm loving feeling that only God can give.  It is at this time now when God will listen to your prayers, when you are in the spirit and are closest to him.  Be sure to ask for things in the name of the all three parts of the God's Head, Yahweh, the Savior, and the Holy Spirit.
If you really want your prayers answered, pray for what God wants you to have.  Pray for things which God will gladly agree to.  God is not a genie, here to do your bidding, but he will do requests if you hound him long enough but mostly he wants to answer prayers which follow his Godly ways.
It's kind of like if God was a life guard at the community pool and it was a nice sunny day and the pool was clean and you ask if you can go swimming.  God will gladly answer prayers which go along with his will.  When you pray for Godly things, believe it to be true and expect it to be so.
One day a Roman commander came to the savior and asked him to heal his son.  Jesus was going to go and visit the boy and cure him.  The Roman commander said that the trip wasn't necessary, he said that if Jesus would just say the word then the boy would be healed, long distance.  Jesus heal the sick boy without even touching him because the Roman had so much faith.
